Well isn't Amazon somewhat like ebay as in there is multiple people selling stuff?I'm not thinking fake SD card, just corrupted/bad. I bought it from Amazon.. Could it really be unreliable?
Any suggestions on a good brand of SD card to buy? I'm heading to Walmart![]()
That should be a staple on everyone computer. I use it all the time when I buy flash based memory from eBay or Amazon. However lately I have not been buying from them, but instead from a local store like worst buy. I have called on many sellers using the software, and they immediately refund the money, and sometimes I also get to keep the SD card, not that you can really do anything with it anyways.Download this and run it through your micro sd card

Lol. We shall.we will see when your scan is done lol
That /is/ true and I think I went through a random store for a lower price instead of Amazons distribution warehouses..Well isn't Amazon somewhat like ebay as in there is multiple people selling stuff?![]()
I agree. I forgot how easy it is to get bad stuff online. I became too trusting. Now I'll be running this on all flash based memory I get too. That should be a staple on everyone computer. LMAO GUYS.
31.1/31.2 usable space is corrupted. Literally only enough space for Cubic Ninja.
Trying the new card now, should work fine.
absolutely. i'll be getting it back soon.ahh there ya see, a fake micro sd card, its not faulty, its designed to be like that to make you think you are getting 32gb but in reality you get next to fuck all space.. tricks your device into thinking its bigger then it really is. id get your money back.
Tried with a 2gb card and now nothing is working. It appears as if nothing is in the 3ds slot.
No, it's a 2gb card issueThis is contact issue ,try to power off 3DS and reinsert sky3ds card.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I know how the formatting is and I knew to format with windows again first and those are the results.few things i'd like to say, only skin read everything, so i can be wrong, and if so, then so be it. anyway, before you say its all corrupt, if you scanned it when it was still formatted with the sky3ds writer tool, that kind of answer is answer is kind of expected. even your pc on working micro sd cards will say only very little data is left after getting formatted by the tool, because it seems to make a partition on the micro sd card, but not in a way thats normally readably acessable. try reformatting with sky3ds writer tool, then reformatting with your default pc programs. then running the scan again.
i wouldn't be quick to say its a defective card / scam cards. especially if the micro sd can play cubic ninja. scams wouldn't even have the product work at all. and its highly unlikly for a electronic based hardware to be 'mostly kinda defective...sorta' ,this is computer stuff were talking here, there is usually some really dumb reason for whats happening. try what i said and run the scan again, then get back to me with the results.

It all makes sense because Cubic Ninja worked. It's the biggest rom that can fit in the usable space of the card. Nothing else worked.
Also, using a new card worked perfectly which pretty much confirms it.
Exactly. I've come to the conclusion that this is exactly what happened. I've contacted the seller demanding a refund and my next step is contacting Amazon directly. This also sounds like some stories I've heard about companies on eBay modifying 128MB cards to appear to be 4GB (this was a while back).
All they had to do was modify them so that they appeared to be 4GB in size to the machine and relabeled them. They still saved fine for the first 100MB~, so when people would do simple tests like text documents, they loaded fine.
