I believe it may be permanent. I've tried it for over a day and haven't gotten the error anymore!

after 1 day of it working it gave me the same prob so i dont think is a permanent fix

it seems if you get psram your screwed but,

if your an Eskimo you can keep it cold

if shorting the two poles to reset the battery, why can't you just take out the battery then reinsert it?
