Have you been able to successfully downgrade your 3DS/2DS?

Same MD5 from that file too, AAA5960A3061DA1F08D944D8E7017BD6

Then it's possible that the MD5 from OP's first post is wrong. But for OLD 3DS US version that I have, the MD5 matches.

The link from that github page is mostly reliable, but I guess you should check other NEW 3DSE users to make sure.

so is the sysupdater on the first post the latest download?
does it work for 10.3?
does it have a low chance of bricking in anyway?
if I get frankenware can i use browserhax to try to downgrade again?

K was downgrading. Got an "Error has occurred please reboot blah blah blah" popup. So I did. And it booted. And my system settings say I'm now on 9.2.0-20U. Everything seems to be going fine as of right now.
How do I double check that it's all done and proper, or if I need to re-update and try again?

K now for the stupidest question I've asked for a long while. How do I use this? I just get a bunch of files and the readme just tells me what the homebrew does.
uhh its saying dont run this is sysNAND or it will brick my console ... do i have sysnand? xD :l thx for every answear

Is there a particular reason people advise to download to 9.2 rather than a lower version (i.e 9.1)? I've been trying to downgrade to 9.2 (from 10.3 n3DS) for a couple of days now and I'm getting the same sysUpdater error each time.

My n3DS is currently on 9.9.

I'm trying to first update to 10.3 with julian sysUpdater, so I can safely downgrade to 9.2.

My entrypoint is Ninjhax.

After a few black screens I get into sysUpdater with the FTBrony trick.

Every time I get in and press (A) to update, I get the error: 0xd900182f - Failed to get CIA file info

Any ideas?

Instead of using sysupdater, why not just update to 10.6 using system update, then downgrading from 10.6 from the new method?

hello folks!
i saw a post in wololo, and said that is already available a firmware downgrade for 10.4 and 10.5, is that true?

To install menuhax I needed to bypass the browser nag using this guide.

For the first ton of tries I kept getting the "Failed to get CIA file information" error. Once I reset dbs, and starting opening then closing FTBrony I got it to partially downgrade. To make it able to boot I had to take out the SD card, then reinstall menuhax for the frankenfirmware. The next time it installed CIAs it successfully downgraded.
Formatting/cleaning the SD card with diskpart might have also helped.
