Have you been able to successfully downgrade your 3DS/2DS?

Rxtools is what most people use. I think it's the most preferred. Look at the tutorials section and you are sure to find some good guides.
It's true that we have cfw on 10.2>? I saw one thing like that on cakefw page

No, whats a sysnand? My micro sd card?

Sysnand is System NAND on your 3ds [which is basically just a type of flash memory] that stores all your settings etc. You can get to it through Settings -> Other Settings -> System format, first however be aware that this will wipe everything your saves on downloaded games, streetpass etc the lot. So back up whatever you can first assuming you care.

I wouldn't argue with gallymimu, be sure of what you are doing. If you don't want to/cant put in the time to learn a bit, probably better off waiting for better solutions later.

Have you formatted your sysnand first?

You should read some other tutorials before going on this adventure. It's a really bad idea to join the site and start doing stuff without spending a few days if not weeks reading and getting up to speed.

sysnand is the NAND memory build into the 3ds. EMUNAND is the emulated version of the NAND stored on the SD card.

One of the main reasons to downgrade is to get the ability to have a separate sysnand and emunand.

One (really noob) question:P. When I put sysUpdater.3dsx as boot.3dsx, do I have to put sysUpdater.smdh as boot.smdh?

PD: thanks^^

Nope, you don't need the smdh at all there. It's just a file (to my knowledge) containing the title and icon for the Homebrew Launcher, so in this case, you don't need it

At this point, yes. Nintendo might push an update to their servers some time in the future, then you'll be out of luck.
But for now, it works, as said, I did it as well.

Thank you, downgrade successful. Now time to look up how to do stuff like cwf.

I'm having a problem after loading up systemupdater, it doesn't show my steps instead it says press a,b or y, after pressing y I get this "getting cia file informations" " title exception: main.cpp:148 Result: 0xD900182f failed to get CIA file info" , my system isn't bricked after I get the error I press B and back out and restarted.

so how to do that

A hardmod is soldering a few wires to the PCB of your 3ds so that you are able to read & write directly to/from NAND. In short if you don't have the requisite skills already you would be better off paying someone to do it, from what I understand it's especially fiddly on n3ds. That said there are guides on this site as to how it is done. It's the only way to be able to restore a bricked system.

So I'm almost done setting up emuNAND, I just hope that using my Android Tablet as a makeshift card-reader doesn't screw with the emuNAND partition. And after I'm done with all that, is there a point in updating my emuNAND to 9.5? I'm on a new 3DS so I can't go past 9.6.

so my o3ds just froze in the start of the sysupdate,no cia file was installed but the first CIA was going to get checked, how fucked up am i?

EUR O3DS downgraded from 10.3 to 9.2 succesfully, wouldn't work when I tried to downgrade from 9.9 though.
