Yeah but if you read the petition, they were only released because of the Hanabi Festival Nintendo is doing. This is to make US and Japan only games come on the Virtual Console regulary (not for some special event)

I would've read it had you linked it on the first post.

If the Hanabi is a success then I'm sure we'll see some more, maybe in another "event" such as this.

I think there was 1 online petition that worked, but it wasd acknowledged officially BEFORE a lot of people signed it. It was the petition for a BioShock Collectors Edition

I don't think so...

They surely didn't release a game in response to a petition and I highly doubt any company will. Though I guess it's kind of a free gauge on public interest for your games I suppose.
