I'm fairly sure that QUITE a large amount of us are indeed waiting for civ rev, it's a highly anticipated game.

I think thr game is going to be awesome. Its the 1st civilization made for consoles... I played the demo the other day in xbox live and It was pretty cool. I cant wait to buy it....

As for the DS version it still hasnt shown up in the bay or the green demon.

I love Civ but I'm not sure how it'll play on such a small screen. Apparently you can't zoom out making it feel pretty claustrophobic (according to IGN). I'm just glad they've kept in turn based!

Oh no... I hve been around, I played Civilizaion since version 1.0. When I meant its the 1st one made for consoles I mean its the 1st one that its gameplay is designed for consoles. At least that is what Sid Meier said in the last Game Informer I received...

To be a bit more 'correct' it would be the first civ made for HANDHELD consoles. It's been on consoles before, many times.

Ahh I forgot about that one, and you are right. Well its good to ee developers are taking consoles and handhelds more seriously for gaming.

I was wondering does anyone know what do you need to actually create a .nds file?

Someone needs to homebrew the original Civ1 to the DS.

I know theres SNES emulation, but its not the same.

Most online sites say its in stock July 10th, I'm guessing that the 8th is actually just the shipping date.

Gamestop says it shipped out yesterday, and stores have it already... at least over here.

I played the demo on Xbox Live and it was pretty cool. That is a game I look forward to play online.

Civ 2 for PS1 is divine, I doubt this will compare, cept in having less load times. Actually, I'm playing civ2 on my psp right now while I wait for this

Lets hope this is almost that good, if it is it'll last forever.

Interesting, I never paid attention to N-Gage and generally considered it dead. Nice to know it had at least one good game though.
