Also, since I don't need the UMD door or internal mechanism at all, can you guys think of anything cool I could put there? I was thinking of a small, custom made fishtank, with a little fish.

It's too small for a little fishtank, but maybe you could put in some (safe) container that holds gel that changes color when it heats up. I didn't actually know if such a thing existed, but 5 seconds of googling found this: http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2007/lightgels-1021.html

Presumably the sticky was removed when the others were. In case you hadn't noticed, the PSP stickies had an overhaul and were replaced with new ones.

Is it easy to change the PSP shell? mine is kinda scratched(I bought it used) and I wanna change it if its easy to do it.
has anyone done it before? also where is the cheapest but good place to buy one? DX?

Yea, it's not hard if you have the time, guide, and tools. There is no soldering required for changing a plate for psp. DealExtreme is the place to buy regarding psp/ds.

just installed my clear faceplate from dealextreme. broke the home bar thingy :@ and the buttons feel like shit now. but it looks nice

I assume most people here get their Faceplates from Dealextreme, can anybody link me to some good quality ones for PSP1000s. I ordered one from there and its got a terrible quality screen which is slightly opaque resulting in washed out colours and its very scratch prone.

If you can find it go with the Camy Pro Gear Dual Injection face plate range. They looks nice....and they're probably far nicer, although more expensive, than the DX range.

Checked out their EU sellers, the best one (coolmods.co.uk) only had Red and Blue Matte Faceplates in stock. I hate mismatching, garish colours. If it had been white or silver it would have been fine but the Blue or Red just look horrid!
