WTF
, he got ripped off then... So he got only 30 cents per game then... That's way too little. I'd expect at least $5-$10 per game. Your dad would've been better off selling those games on eBay (collectors), would've certainly gotten more than what GS paid for them... I understand they were free in the first place... but still...
5-10 per game? It sounds like you're unfamiliar with how gamestop/ebgames/babbages(they're all the same store now) works. They usually buy used games for a few bucks, then turn around and sell it for about 5-10 less than what the brand new ones are going for. They will never give you what a game is worth, but that's just how they make money.
They unfortunately aren't the quickest at marking down prices though. I have seen many "used" games that are more expensive than brand new ones, due to the new games coming down in price, but the used ones not being marked down. Rubs me the wrong way.
A lot of people don't see the point in keeping a game, and just want to make a few bucks back before buying new games. shopping there works for them.
I keep my games and try and find the best deals on used games I can. so shopping there doesn't work for me.
I don't buy used games at gamestop, though I will buy new games or used accessories. I mainly just shop on amazon or flea markets, as they will almost always have cheaper prices than gamestop.
Back to the topic at hand, Mario Kart 7 is a great mario kart game. If you like mario kart games, get it. If you don't like mario kart games, don't get it.
