No they won't. Got mine sealed. Got my copy of Black 2 sealed. Get all of my new games sealed.
He meant that during the trading process they'll open the unopened game the OP is trading along with the other games for Mario Kart 7. I believe they do that to verify the game is indeed inside the box and it is what it claims to be. Just watch out that they don't decrease the value of the game because it's opened, they opened the game, not you.

How much should I Be getting for an Unopened Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Nintendo DS Game in New Zealand Dollars?

Because Technicly and Unopened game can't be called Second hand seeing as it had never been touched

I do not know prices but it should be a few dollars more you can get for it by having it sealed.
Exactly, you are right, it technically cant be called secondhand since it was never played or opened. However, GameStop (or EB Games known to you) will try to rip you off as it is common practice for them to rip off customers looking to trade/sell.

he's trading in a sealed game, which they will open (of course they wouldn't open a game you just bought:P)
Ohhhh. Actually, no, they won't. If they're uniform across stores, they won't take it at all. You have to have it unwrapped before you get there. Or have the receipt. They won't take it still factory-sealed.

Furthermore, they can't resell it as new. Too many people reshrink-wrap things. You'll get whatever price they'd give for buying a used copy from you.

WTF , he got ripped off then... So he got only 30 cents per game then... That's way too little. I'd expect at least $5-$10 per game. Your dad would've been better off selling those games on eBay (collectors), would've certainly gotten more than what GS paid for them... I understand they were free in the first place... but still...

I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200

My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol

    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?

    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device

Two good videos from ElectroBOOM that touch on the subject:

@Sicklyboy, i think wire chargers are more practical
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but im too stupid to know
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Wired is better for faster charge but if you just leave it all night while you sleep it's good
