I just put my son's DSLite into a nice Blue Top/Red bottom shock case (he broke the hinge by the LEDs)..

Note: I consider myself fairly modding savy, but this was in no way easy. The dissasembly video they have on their website makes it look easy enough, but what they need is a re-assembly video.

Anyway, I thought I had everything put back properly, but it isn't working. When I turn on the power, I get a green light for about a sec, then it turns off and nothing happens..

Make sure all your connections are good. This happened to me when I was putting my DS back together. the connector for the screens needs to be all the way in. You think it's all the way in, but it's actually just a little off. You should try testing it before you screw everything back together.

This usually happens when the hardware can't get properly initialised. Make sure you've connected the screens firmly and that there's no damage to the cables.

Correct, this ended up being my problem.. Thank you!

Here are some pics.. We went with a Red/Blue Optimus Prime/Spiderman theme (it's for my 5 year old)..

BTW: I consider myself pretty electronics/modding savvy, but this was a B$TCH to do..

That ds would go nicely with a new super mario brothers ds carry case.
