ROM Hack ShiverBot - Splatoon 3 memory editor using sys-botbase

shiverbot ban wave 2 started about 2 days ago which probably explains the sudden ban. i’m not sure if i’ll get banned but probably

Hearing about this makes me glad I decided to just use splork (look for it on github because i am not allowed to post links) instead of shivabot. Although I dunno if it would matter if I only used the drawing function.

I used splork too but the drawing sometimes comes out with one or two wrong lines of pixels, not a big deal but still if it is a complex drawing it can be a pain to fix

Using Shiverbot for drawings is safe because there is no ram editing, you can also use it with 90 DNS if you want to be more safe ( and if you set the drawing time to the max the drawing always comes out perfect )

The line issue is easily resolved by just using the tool. All you do is hit the screenshot button (or take a capture with a usb capture card) and toss the image into the converter and it corrects the line in a matter of seconds.

As much as I would like to believe you I'm not gonna risk it when we're in the midst of yet another ban wave. X)

Any remotely done saves been console banned yet? I had chunks etc injected and got caught in the OG banwave haven't gotten anything since and I'm using an alt on the same switch, OLED comes in tomorrow so I'm transferring my new account over there, (not sure if I want to transfer my old account and risk any sort of ban) old switch has no cfw as well so I'm wondering if I'm safe on that too

we'll have to wait and see till around tomorrow 10am JST. thats when the day changes for splatoon and is when the 2.0.0 update drops and presumably the final banwave. im in the same boat as you and i havent been banned yet on my alt.
alts were being banned if the alt was made on the same hacked switch but no reports except one says otherwise.

we don't have to wait that long LOL update data and patch is incoming in about 2 and a half hours I wont be opening splatoon until I get the go ahead to possibly avoid a console ban my switch is unhacked so I'm unsure if it'll even happening and will just wait until I get my new switch to transfer data, IIRC as long as I don't open spl3 on my old ACC on my new switch I should be fine on that one but Id like clarification?

the first ban wave occurred maybe like 30 mins after the 1.2 update actually dropped right? im just assuming it'll be the same for the 2.0 update.

this was neither unconfirmed or confirmed but it's not a bad idea if it'll make u feel more at ease. like i said previously theres been no instance of an alt account being banned on a non-modified switch console. it seems to just be alts on modified hardware. there was 1 person who said nintendo banned their other consoles but this has not been the case for literally anyone else but it wouldnt hurt to still take precautions.

idk if it'll be the "final" banwave. as they ban more and more things i imagine it'll become harder for what remains to be detected in a vaguely natural selection-like fashion. bans just breed sneakier hackers. it's possible the update'll include some new method of monitoring in which case folk might get a few weeks to months of freedom before the next wave.

oh yea mb i didnt mean literal final ban wave. i more meant it as the final banwave to catch and ban the rest of the ppl who avoided bans the first time from the first instance, or those who created alts. there will ofc, be more bans for those who continue to cheat

i’ve been scouring and only found 1 person who’s been banned. but they used shiverbot, not banned for an alt. might be too early to call but i think alts on unmodified hardware actually are safe. btw i still have my banned account on the same switch. risky ik but for the sake of science lol. i don’t believe nintendo is actually ip banning ppl for several reasons

I have a theory that (and i don't want to jynx myself) but those who had it done remotely were never flagged for further ban due to the consoles not actually being associated with CFW, I have been playing with my banned account but since the switch that modified my data was console banned I believe its a closed case for us since the unpatched switch has no associated with cfw I do imagine though that if you were to hack again it would result in a console ban for multiple offenses on the same console

yea i’m thinking the same. except ig i got extremely lucky?? i did it remotely and both my unmodified and modified consoles are not console banned. no idea how my cfw switch flew under the radar unlike everyone else but we’ll see

Lean was able to reduce the amount of slots needed to 4 or 5 so it's not as painful as before, you can also import your user data from splatnet which will auto-generate the seeds for all new gear that you get.
