I CFW’ed the new one too. Downloaded my saves from Switch online. The Pokemon and Animal Crossing saves I used JKSV for.
"Temporary" means permanent in this situation. Won't surprise me if it upgrades to a permanent ban error code in a few days.

Today I got my 2nd switch i bought from ebay
First, i unlinked all my old accounts from the banned switch using the nintendo website and then linked them again on this new switch
Using the account that was banned i was able to access eshop again and redownload my previously purchased games
Then i hacked it and using JKSV i brought all my old save files back from the banned switch to the new one
Nintendo switch online is still active on that splat3 banned account so i tried to play smash ultimate and monster hunter sunbreak online and it worked
For Splatoon 3 i tried the account i created after my main one was banned ( when the ban was for splat 3 only and not the whole console ) and it worked i can play again
Now, using Shiverbot only for the drawings is safe right?

I don't think you should try it, but I have a morbid curiosity to know what would happen if you tried logging into Splat 3 with the banned account and the cloud save on the new Switch.
I know Splatoon 3 will just throw an error and refuse to connect that account to online, but I wonder if even the simple act of using that cheated cloud save and getting that error on another CFW switch will flag the new switch also and get it banned? Or if that cloud save and account can't use Splat 3 anymore so it's not an issue if you accidentally loaded it on the new switch?
Again, not saying to try it. I'm just interested to know how strict the big N being with that busted account and save
if the new switch if cfw it’ll probably get flagged. if it’s a newer model switch like an oled nothing will happen. otherwise ppl would be going around logging into switches with their banned accounts and banning everyone
hi i am having an issue - i continue to get an error code that says this
"error no address found for this build id, Received build is EF671755F0AF65E5" I downloaded the sys-botbase, put it inside my content folder without a problem, and downloaded the net framework you recommended on your post just encase if maybe that's the issue, i even went to the troubleshoot page for connection errors, read the first few fixes for maybe fixing my issue but 5 of the solve methods don't work at all; cause i don't think i need to install usb-botbase to get sys-botbase and this program to work - correct?
i even double checked if maybe i got the wrong ip address from my nintendo account but nope typed it correctly, i even went as far as to rename the mod folder i added onto the game for it won't load in..however i am thinking of just removing it - it's not really a cheat file it's just a reflinky mod that someone had made in gamebanana mods website but just to make sure i will remove it and see if that fixes this issue - if not either or i would like to know if anybody knows how to fix this issue just encase - please -
edit; i noticed that someone had the same issue as me and you replied back to it, i sadly am on version 14.1 of my atmosphere firmaware..so i am assuming i need to update to get this to work - oof lol. i will be doing so, but i will try to restart the switch itself and i do got overlays but they're not active, i had to remove telsa overlay because of the fact that my switch getting stuck on the logo screen and i was trying to figure out what was causing the issue; it was between that and something else.
edit 2; so i updated the atmosphere already to 15.0.1 and it still doesn't want to work at all :/..i don't know why but it just won't connect at all...any help would be nice

So this explains the low level players with op gear. Why not actually earn it by battling and not cheating?

Open the shiverbot folder and then open the addresses folder
Inside there are txt documents
right click on the one called 44CFD4BD0B42FF96.txt and rename it to EF671755F0AF65E5.txt

Well I'm using it to unlock all gear..if I can do it with this program that's about it, however, I can understand somewhat for players who didn't buy the game but got it the other way, cause they can't afford the game at all and just want to use the badges for their gears - but some people go overboard and just break their characters on purpose to actually cheat. So I do agree with you.
Interestingly, the other two Switches in my house on a different Nintendo Online account entirely that have not used Shiverbot or any Splatoon 3 mods have all gotten an Error 2124-4607 and ban from Splatoon 3. Has anyone else had their secondary accounts on non-modded Switches nuked? Does Nintendo do IP bans for games?
That's... terrifying. What if you're using shared wifi at, say, a college or university dormitory and someone else gets banned for being an idiot?
Big yikes. Any other potential causes? E.g. you had some kind of CFW on those switches it could have detected (even though no shivbot used)? Or maybe your banned account was logged in on the switch. Or these accounts were logged in on your banned switch?
I haven't played Splat 3 in a while, but id been using an unbanned switch and alt account on same online plan for a bit. I wonder if it's banned now

I went to the Nintendo website, eshop account settings, and i unlinked all my accounts from the banned switch ( you can do that but only once a year )
Then on ebay i bought a used switch, put all my accounts in that one and then i went to the console cloud settings and erased all my old savedata from the servers, not sure if it was a required step to keep things "clean" but i did it anyway
Then i hacked it using atmosphere and brought all my old saves back from the banned switch to the new one using JKSV, all except Splatoon 3
On the new switch i can use my old banned account fine on all other online games like monster hunter, Mario kart, smash etc and recently pokemon violet too, but for Splatoon 3 i will never try to launch it with that account
To play Splatoon 3 i made a new account and it works fine, i even used Shiverbot again recently but only to create a drawing

Yeah... I don't think they would do an IP ban. Way too much risk especially when they often partner up with fast food places (like, say, mcdonalds) to give away pokemon (at least back in the DS/3DS days). Nintendo's very aware that hundreds if not thousands of people can share a connection.

- Switch A (CFW Switch) had Account A, this switch I used for Shiverbot and hacking chunks and money.
- Switch B (OFW Switch) had Account A and Account B (my roommate). My roommate played Splatoon 3 without CFW on Account B, and I occasionally played Splatoon 3 on this Switch with Account A
- Switch C (OFW Switch) had Account A and I would occasionally play on Account A in Splatoon 3 handheld.
Switch A and Account A got the ban, (Account B is my roommate), so I created Account C. I have not been restricted from online games on Switch A other than Splatoon 3.
Switch C is a Switch Lite. Its never had CFW, and I never used it for anything other than singleplayer games, and now Splatoon 3 when I had Account A.
Switch C was disconnected from Account A and factory reset. Switch C then had my new Account C added to it. This was around October 28th or so.
Switch B had Account A removed, and my roommate has been playing Splatoon 3 up until both Switch B and Switch C were banned from Splatoon 3. No additional hacks or cheats, or even CFW have been used since my original ban from October. Switch A has been on emuNAND and totally offline and I've just been playing Pokemon since it came out.
I am suspecting that because Switch A (and thus, Account A) got banned from Splatoon 3, Switch B and Switch C may have been flagged due to once having the account tied to it instead of an IP ban now. I personally do not mind having to buy an entirely new Switch someday if I want to play Splatoon 3 again, but having my roommate also banned from it is disappointing. I guess I didn't suspect there would be collateral damage
I haven't contacted Nintendo Support yet to see if Account B and Account C are permabanned from Splatoon 3 or just the Switches are because I wasn't sure how to navigate the website, but I may try to call them when it's not a holiday.
shiverbot ban wave 2 started about 2 days ago which probably explains the sudden ban. i’m not sure if i’ll get banned but probably
