Gaming shiny pokemon in black 2

i return to play black 2 after months of finishing it
if i use the action replay code to force any pokemon that appear to me to become shiny , is he gonna be legit ?
as i know, there is very small percentage that you can encounter shiny legendary or starters , alot and alot of soft reset for the game
but with this cheat, you only press select to force any pokemon you encounter to become shiny

is this method will miss with the pokemon ?

i used it on latios
and i can transfer it to the Bank without problem
