Not really, the brown or gold ones are ugly, but the rest doesn't look bad, and some (like blue Mew) look quite good, actually.

They should make power systems in the games like 3 types of one pokemon
the one is weak th other is normal and the last strong and then also a 4th in which your pokeomn is uber strong but it has to be a rare encounter like the shineys you can check up with a scouter or something

That would make the game interesting maybe the weaker ones in power are extremly fast so you could have 2 or 3 turn while your enemy made 1 turn.

I found a shiny Bidoof 5 minutes into Platinum. It's possible, just very, very, VERY hard. One of my brother's friends caught a shiny Rayquaza in Pokemon Emerald.

I found multiple shinies already, without ever having to resort to cheats or tricks (like the Pokéradar trick). It's just a matter of having luck. My first shiny was a Psyduck, I found it on my copy of Pearl.

Caught 3 legit shinies (including Red Gyarados in SS) so far, without any cheats or codes.

Other 2 are Graveler in Platinum, and Tentacool (good nature/IV too xD) in SoulSilver =D

I've never caught nor seen a Shiny Pokemon, beside Shiny Gyarados. I really hope to find one these days...

I caught a shiny Duskull in Ruby, and that was my only shiny ever.
It really caught me by surprise because it looks almost the same as a non-shiny Duskull.
