How will this do on a 9800GT at 1280x1024?
This game was surprisingly small to preload, about 1.5GB, I was surprised it went so fast on my slow connection.

Hmm, I highly doubt it, since the minimum GPU requirement is a HD3870, but I'm not too sure about it.

Everything else meets the MINIMUM though and Windows 7 does support DX10. If you plan to get a new card, make sure it was made for DX10 and not a DX9 card that just added it in. Recommended is here.

i would bother with this, but i doubt i can play this at a decent framerate. minimum system requirements are always just the bare minimum to get a game running not playable at a decent rate.

Actually, the developers themselves said that the minimums they set was for users to actually be able to have a fairly enjoyable experience.

Actually tried this out on my Athlon II X2 7850 @2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 9800GT rig @ 1280x1024 with medium to high settings and got great framerates. TBH though I didn't really like the game, way to disorienting.
