k UM well i was thinking of making a shadow the hegehog remake so i thought i could get some recriuters and such & such so um yeah people im gonna have to get some recruiters

Jobs open:

Someone to Make the shadow sprite from the flash game go on the game we're making

someone who is good at text editing and someprogrammers like trying to make a homemade game

my part:

trying to figure out how to use sonic lvl editor to put in the game

tools:

NDS game maker

Sonic LVL creator flash game(not sure how but im gonna try to make it work if someone knows how to do that plz contact)

STATUS: 1%(BOXART)

stroy line:

Shadow the hedgehog the ultimate life form created by Dr. Robtinic & his grandson thought its better for a third hedgehog but it went horribly wrong cuz shadow & eggman do no know Black doom's army still relies in shadow so to clone a clone only brings horriblness to the world

it's up to you will Shadow defeat black doom or wil Shadow DESTROY US ALL!!!

you are ARMAGEDDON OR HOPE!!!

Plz know people there will be 2 different version where u kill people(EVIL/BLACK DOOM) & where u Save people(HERO/PEOPLE'S LAST HOPE).

THESE WILL BE 2 DIFFERENT PATCHES EITHER FOR HOMEMADE OR A HACK OF SONIC COLORS

It's best if you make some headway yourself so like people Black-Ice don't think you're total joke. Try and see how far you get on your own by using tutorials online. Once people witness you putting a little more effort into the project, you'll most likely garner more support.

still working on recriuts u in? offering?

Unless you show the community that you can actually *code* stuff and prepare some examples, as well as (preferably) storyboards and concept sketches, this is just another instance of "Hi people! I have an idea, please code me a game!". Coding requires lots of dedication and unless you show the community that something's actually going to come out of it, I wouldn't count on a team to run right to you.

Someone to Make the shadow sprite from the flash game go on the game we're making //Sprite sheets available online - Shadow was in Sonic Battle on the Advance afterall.
someone who is good at text editing and someprogrammers like trying to make a homemade game //You'll need to show that you can code as well.
trying to figure out how to use sonic lvl editor to put in the game //That's not going to work. Prepare a chipset or download one ripped from Sonic Advance, then use Mapping software, like TileED.
paint/mspaint.etc //Paint.NET

actually u have point but right now i learning how to program & all that i only came with a title screen

Well, that's a terrible shame then. If all you have is a title screen and boxart, then it's unreasonable to ask others to join your team - first and foremost you need to learn the basics.

You mentioned DS Game Maker - even though I don't use it anymore, I'm still active on its forums and I can provide you with ideas on how to solve code problems (most useful snippets are already in the tutorials section), so you should probably direct your request there.

you could decompile the flash sonic game, and just make some new levels from that. shadow is already in that etc etc :)

...no, no he couldn't. And even if he could, I find it hard to believe that he'd easily adjust resources resized in a flash game to a proper DS format. There's sprite sheets online - he can use those.

Hate to be the negative nancy here, but this user is either a kid or rather immature and likely isn't going to listen all too well to how you're directing him. I've dealt with a lot of people on Sonic Paradox that say about the same thing, usually "hey I want to make a sonic animation but I need someone to animate it and voice act it for me ok thanks" without indicating anything about what they want to happen or anything at all.

Before anyone helps this guy, I think it would be best for him to present:

1. A fully fleshed-out storyline for the title ( I'm assuming there will be a story/reason black doom returns besides "Black doom RETURNS")
2. Level design for at least one zone
3. At least one enemy design

If he's just going to rip backgrounds and enemies from another sonic game, there's really no point in it.
Most fangames on portables tend to be that, but a good example of a good, original homebrew sonic game is Sonic Epoch Advance:

I'm not saying he's not capable of making something like this just because of how he presents his idea or his age (I personally know a twelve year old that is able to edit via hexidecimal) but chances are any more time spent on threads like this will be wasted unless he proves himself.

I love it when tweenagers think they can make a game like its an easy thing to do, they try and try and then power rangers comes on and they lose all interest, bless em.

Fair play if you do give it a go though

plz sir i would be very gratful(no joke)

If you seriously think you'll see this project through until it's a working game, best of luck to you.

If not... we've seen hundreds like you before.

well i could hack pokemon but i dont want to do that

No I'm talking about someone joining up here and with not even 10 posts they start asking for a team or something of that nature with no work of their own to make anyone remotely interested in joining. Follow what everyone else has told you from the start, learn, create, showcase, then ask. I mean it's not that hard to understand.
