I'm trying to get on cfw, still same problem. I get stuck on the step of CTRTransfer. It says .sha check failed. Any ideas on why?

Redownload the files and try again. One of the two ctr transfer files isn't correct, causing a mismatch when the sha is checked.

You probably have the right files. If sha fails it means the ctr transfer files got corrupted in some way and need to be downloaded again. SHA is essentially a file integrity check

That doesn't seem right though. If he didn't extract the zip then how did he get the .sha and .bin files? If he didn't have those files then the error wouldn't be a failed .sha check but the fact that there's no file to use in the first place, no?

Did you check your SD card with h2testw as the guide instructs you, before starting the guide? I don't see anything wrong with your files/folder structure, so there doesn't seem to be many options left. If you didn't, then empty out your SD card and run h2testw on it. if it finishes without errors then that's not the issue.
