Hacking settings gone

so while messing around with tickets i ended up removing settings (dont use tickets for install on fbi fasthax) anyways how would i restore it? (the title still exists i just need to restore the ticket)

yes, it should install all of your missing tickets. It got sd transfer back for me

and now i cant buy anything from eshop... only redownload... this doesnt feel right... also it did not restore the settings ticket

Tikshop added all the tickets for your region, i would recommend running a system update which should redownload settings.

there are no system updates lol. 11.2. i can live without settings on my home menu anyways i suppose

If you go to the system updates button and check for updates, it should redownload missing apps.

verdict: it didnt settings exists but still isnt on the home menu.

In the upper left hand portion of the lower home menu screen is the quick settings button. Push that, then click the settings icon in there. Update (even if you are on 11.2) to restore the settings home menu icon.

If a NUS downloader is still a thing for the 3DS, you might try that also.

update didnt restore it also thanks ill just use quickmenu for settings now.

Are you A9LH? If so, restore a previous NAND and keep A9LH. Then update back to 11.2 normally.

Back up your SD card first!

also i downgraded from 11.2 to 2.1 back upto 11.2 there are no updates xD

Well, that was fairly dumb lol.

I think at this point you may be stuck using the quick settings icon until Nintendo releases 11.3. Or can figure out how to use the 3DSNUS program to download the Settings.cia file for your region.

Then you should have a previous 11.2 NAND backup from just after homebrew and before A9LH. Restore this with Hourglass9 choosing the "keep A9LH" option.

funny thing, that doesnt work either, but i can still launch settings from mashers hl but ill try the 3dnus thing (however 3dnus is outdated and seems someone branched off and made a newer program)

The update isn't fixing the issue because you still have a valid ticket file for it. Use FBI to delete the settings.cia ticket and try updating again. You may need to clear home exif data before you try updating. Instructions for that can be found in the troubleshooting section of Plailect's guide.
