Hacking Serial numbers for "unmoddable" Australian Wii's

Just a quick heads up for those trying to decide if a certain Wii bought in Australia may have the undesirable "cut legs" on the drivechip. People seem to have the numbers narrowed to a particular range for US and EUR Wii's but not AU. Here is the info I have so far, if people can help me narrow this I will edit the thread.


LAH100782097 (D2B chipset, bought early May) all legs intact...

LAH101190013 legs intact bought about 2 weeks ago.

Wait, so the Unmoddable Wiis are already out in US and UK then? What about JP? And where would you find the serial numbers for these listed at?

does anyone if the new AU wii's with the cut legs have wii sports in a cardboard sleeve like the new UK ones??
