So what if it were illegal. As long as you don't put a return adresse on it, they won't dust for prints I guess

The question wasn't about whether anyone would be caught, only if it was illegal or not.

I'd have to say, yes, it would be illegal.

You can send the back up and destroy the original copy of the game.
You can send both the game and a back up copy.

You can share your game, but you can't make a copy for others to own.

Do not have sources though, so don't trust this that much.
