Dear users,

I'm very new to wiiu hacking. I've got it all working now. I go to the browser and load wiiubru website and it launches homebrew.

But I want to host that webpage on my synology nas, so I can always access it even when I'm offline from internet, so through local host.

Is this possible?

I've seen this all in one package, but I want it like that website wiiubru, hassle free, one bookmark click away from launching homebrew.

Kind regards and thanks in advance!

You can use the all in one to set up the self hosting. Then replace the bundled site with any other self host package you want. If you want to host the wiiubru website you'll have to see if there is an offline package available to download from the site.

There was on the website it self, but it's different. I got the homebrew webserver files on my nas now. They load, but it crashes/freezes my wiiu.

I don't know why, because wiiubru.com works perfectly.

Sometimes you'll have different results on self hosting vs. online. For me its the exact opposite. I can never get online to work which is why I self host.

Yeah, exactly. Self-hosting works 98% of the time for me, and streaming h4x from a server works just as well. I guess I've been lucky with my internet speed.

If you can't get self-hosting to work, don't worry, you're not the only forum user who has trouble with this sort of thing.
I use both Mac and Windows computers. On my Mac, I use the built-in Apache (w/ PHP) servers to host the exploits. On my Windows PC (which I don't use very often) I installed XAMPP (just the web server and PHP components) and host that way.

Does your NAS actually support HTTP web hosting? The quick research I performed (Wikipedia) tells me that it is supposed to use a specialised file sharing protocol, such as that used by Windows Homegroups.

Just remember that most of these tools are still experimental (Loadiine GX2 is still in beta, Homebrew Launcher is in RC) and may not work 100% of the time. You will get there eventually, you just need a little bit of patience.
