Sega Genesis Plus Gx bios

Hi there, have some sega CD roms with 7z format but when i try to load the file, the Genesis plus core doesnt shows. Using xbox x with retroarch

Whats seems to be the problem? Bios? Or anything else?

Does the game play if you extract it from the 7z?

extract the file with either 7zip or winrar or what ever program you want. then put that files in the bios folder. then your good to go.

Iirc, Retroarch can read zip, not sure about. 7z. Use clrmame pro to convert all of the games from .7z to zip.

I had to FTP the BiOS files onto the Retroarch folder system on the Xbox internal hard drive to get Retroarch to 'see' them.

It wouldn't use them from the external hard drive where I keep all the ROMs when I changed the default paths in Retroarch to look on the external drive.
