That is quite contradictory. They are the first to bring new features, and that can only happen if they are doing the heavy RE work. And you heard wrong. Because Gateway weaponized the mset and kernel vulnerabilities into something useful.

To elaborate on this: They are reportedly the first to know how to find a good return address and patch up what was broken (if anything) by their code injection. This allows the system hardware, software to run fully whereas homebrew ROP loaders break parts of the system and limit functionality.

Besides, when GW announced the 7.X cryptography support and stuff, they said it would be possible with the actual revision and NO HARDWARE revision would be needed.
I just thing this is either a scam or they are wrong at something.

I only bought it from them because of the coupon, but now I'm afraid I'll get a fake.

EDIT: I placed an order from Eachmall 2 weeks ago, and it hasn't shipped. They told me new stock was coming in the next week. But I checked again today, the Gateway has vanished from their website!

To be fair a lot of resellers employ the same tactics(making fake gateway twitter accounts and websites etc to funnel customers to their own site), it's just a way for resellers to seem more trust worthy...... Personally I think it makes them look dodgy as hell
