Hacking sdhc card reader

im going to buy a cyclods and a micro sd card.

the only thing im stuck on is wether to get this card
Kingston 2GB

a-data 4gb sdhc

i have no expirience with a-data of sdhc.

can i actually use it on my pc with the included sd card reader thats pakaged with the cyclods? would i need drivers or something?
is a-data a good brand?
also half the reviews for the a-data card are DOA, are they broken or are the users just nubz?

I have two of the A-Data 4GB cards and have had zero problems. It should work fine with the cyclo reader (although my cyclo reader was junk and had problems with all my memory cards.)

You wouldn't need drivers for the USB reader though the reader is normally junk anyways. Just stick in the micro SD and plug it into a USB port.

The A-Data 4GB SDHC Class 6 cards are the fastest cards I've seen so far. In CF_Bench on the DS, it even outperforms my 1GB Kingston Japan(Toshiba) in seek times by a decent margin. The 2GB Kingston cards are much slower than the 1GB.

Most of the people complaining are most likely using the card in non-SDHC compatible devices/readers.

Any uSD card that's made in Japan is actually made by Toshiba as AFAIK they're the only ones with a plant in Japan. (The others are just re-badges, e.g. my 3 Kingston (Japan) 2GB uSDs and my Toshiba 2GB all have the same specs (w/in margin of error) when tested.
