Hardware SD won't be recognize

When I plug in my SD into my PC or Acekard2i it won't load. but when I put it in my mobile phone it just works :S so what to do??

Format sounds like the easiest option

PC doesn't even recognize it? You may have to buy a new one I'm sorry to say. It might be on the last legs of its life in that phone.

Format it with a camcorder or a phone application

Else you can try formatting from a linux distribution with Gparted it works sometimes with Linux where Windows can't.

What kind of SD is it? micro SD?
if so, you probably have an adapter that makes it into a Normal SD card...

Me don't know why but some cards refuse to work like that, try an usb adapter instead (Eighteen got both, its a very small keychainlike usb thingy, that always works. but when i use the same Micro SD in a diffrent kind of Adapter, It won't..)

So long story short, usa a different kind of adapter or get another micro SD card
