Hacking SD formater doesnt copy boot.firm?

Bit of a newbie with 2DS XL NEW, however I'm trying to setup a new SD card.

Gone into godmode and selected the "SD format menu" and selected emunand (trying to replicate my old card).

However it formats successfully but using the new SD card causes the 3DS to fail to power on (flashes power on light), apparently this because its missing the loader file.

Sounds like you didn't follow https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup completely because part of that is to copy boot.firm to the CTR-NAND so you don't need it in the SD card
