Hacking SD failed after trying to boot different NSP in Atmosphere Emunand

Had a FAT32 microSD, and was running Atomsphere 0.92 with emunand on latest firmware. Had switched from one NSP, and was about to boot another, when the switch froze, and the Atmosphere crash screen displayed. Proceeded to boot into hekate, though into the vertical simplified version, indicating no SD. Plugged microSD into PC, and nothing pops up.

Guessing the microSD is fried, as nothing is detecting it. Is this a normal thing? Is there a way to fix / prevent this from ever occurring again?

If your computer can’t read it, it’s like you said probably a mistake of the sd card.
