Hello, I changed my SD to a 32GB SD (I copied and pasted the foulders), I did formatted to Fat32, but when I go to play a game or enter fbi or freeshop it says "SD card removed", I can see the game icons but it keeps giving this error. My Luma is 6.6 with arm9. Does anyone know what might be the reason? If it's the SD or what

1. update from a9lh to boot9strap following https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s
2. if you update and nothing changes and have the same problem format the sd card and install only one app (fresh install) and open it to see if it works.
3. if all of that does nothing you can try luma legacy https://astronautlevel2.github.io/Luma3DS/
4. if that still does not work try another sd card

So, I was trying to install b9s, but when I got in Section II -installing boot9starp {"boot your device (holding start) to launch Luna3DS"}, appeared: "an exception occurred" and I don't know what to do

Does it boot at all?

So when you press start you get an exeption accourred? Can you try another sd card?

Yes, I do. Well, I tried my old SD and it seems like it's normal, this time I didn't get "exeption accourred". I am starting to think that the problem is my new SD, probably it's fake.

If you test the SD and it's legit, and you're using an old 3DS, the problem might be the card slot.
Mine was doing the same thing, saying the sd card was removed, first when the system was moved too much, then just at random and later pretty much all the time, turns out the metal that holds the card in place was a little bent outwards and wasn't pressing the card against the contacts anymore. Fixed that and it's been working fine for over a year so far.

But the thing is that it only appears this with this new SD, my old SD works fine

Then it's more likely that the card is bad. Although it could just be that the new card is thinner, which has happened to me before.
Does the new one seem like it slides in/out easier than the old one?

No, it seems normal, but I think I'll use h2testw to see if the SD is OK. Cause I think the card is the problem

The SD card is the problem. Do you have any games or something on the other SD card to confirm that it does not say that the SD was removed?

A little off topic, but thank you for this post. I've been having the same issues with my old3ds for a while, and since I'm still using a9lh, it is now refusing to boot because it can't read the SD card. Hopefully doing what you did will fix my 3DS too.

i'm sorry, maybe try formatting and re installing the apps and see of it works?
I've already done this like 5 times already, I only created this thread after i saw I didn't know what else to do, but you confirmed my suspicious, the problem is with the SD. :(

Hi
I have the same problem trying to use 64GB card instead of the 32GB one. Did you finally confirm that the issue was related to your card or was it anything else?
Thanks
