As the title, my SD card in my 3DS often gets write-protected.
When I plugged it in my computer it said that my SD card is write-protected. But when I plugged it in my 3DS, it works fine. Then I plugged it back to my computer and sometimes it works again, if not I plugged it back to my 3DS.

I never switch the SD card lock.

What should I do guys?

Toshiba Class 10 32GB and purchased it in a trusted computer shop. I'm sure it is not fake.
Got the same problem in my previous SD card (V-Gen is the brand).

Well apparently the reader can be a problem so try with a diffrent reader for a while, but if the problems persists with diffrent sd readers...then you know what the problem is

It may be the SD Card Reader on your computer is faulty. Try getting a USB card reader and see if it does the same thing.

EDIT: Double ninja'd :ninja::ninja:

Thanks guys. I use the laptop built-in slot. Maybe Windows 10 can't handle the driver properly.

Can your 3DS write files to it? I have a microSD that nothing can write to... except everything (except the official SDFormatter) thinks it can; just any changes (formatting, adding and removing files, etc) aren't applied.

Yes, the 3DS always can. Sometimes my laptop doesn't.

I always use the built in slot on my Windows 10. It does get physically moved when I put it in the slot and the switch is moved back when I take it out. A design issue.

Windows 10 killed my Built in SD card reader as well, but it works fine with my Linux OS, so use a USB SD card reader as one solution and probably the easiest
Thanks. I'll consider to buy one soon. But maybe driver future update can fix this issue.
