So I bought a 400gb Sandisk Ultra A1 Class 10 and I wanted to know what is the proper way to format this card to read and play my NSP game. I did already try formatting it exfat like my current SD card 256gb is but it wouldn't install games fully some come up black boxes with loading circles. The games it does install come up unable to start when they played on my 265 just fine.

I'm using a 400gb formatted to FAT32 for a couple years and haven't had any issue. Avoid exFAT if you don't want your sdcard corrupted sometime down the line.

Okay so I just Formatted my 400gb FAT32 using this program
http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

It reads I have
390gb of free space left is that right? I've seen people say it's only should have around 366gb left if formatted correctly.

390gb doesn't look right. There should be 2 partitions with one of them reserved for eMMC taking up a fair bit of space. So the other partition that needs be be formatted to FAT32 should be smaller than 390.

Not sure wasn't tought anything about eMMC just using normal CFW I guess with AMS latest. Formatting in my PC don't make Partitions. I just copy over the files once the format is done and CFW runs usually without problems. This card is giving me problems. Keeps reading missing Bootloader file but I use the same bootloader file in my 256 and I have No issue running CFW on that card.

You should have like 373 GB if the card was 400.

Yes the CARD is a Legit SanDisk Ultra 400gb A1 Class 10 Micro Sd card boughten from Amazon.

But did you use any software to verify if it is legitimate? It doesn't matter what brand or where you bought it from, fake SD cards can be found anywhere and everywhere.

https://3ds.hacks.guide/h2testw-(windows).html try using the program found here to test your sd card. Empty your card, test it with this, let it fully run, and it'll let you know if your card is legit (as said above even reputable sellers can get fake cards)

And How does the program let you know if the Card is legit or not? What should the bits s be on a 400gb to make it legit. I thought SanDisk, Samsung, where trusted brands to buy.

The brands themselves are trusted but someone may be selling low counterfeit gb models to make money on their end.
Amazon used a lot of middle man so somewhere in there fake models get in.
The link I sent has a good explanation of how the program works too

Your absolutely right because I just got Screwed by Amazon from a Trusted band. Bought a SanDisk Ultra 400gb A1 Class 10 Micro Sd card and the damn thing Wouldnt and I repete Wouldnt except any format to used CFW files on because all it keeps telling me is I need to update my bootloader file and I've already done that to the dodgle and in the files Im using on the card. I don;t have any issues with other cards excluding this P.O.S and I use the same files on lesser gb card.
