SD card damaged while installing games with Atmosphere?

Hi everyone,
I have a switch which previously had SX OS installed and now in running succesfully Atmosphere.
My SD card was a 120GB formatted exFat and had almost 40 GB of free space.
I was trying to install a nps game.
During the installation I got an error (unfortunately, I didn't write which error).
Then, Atmosphere won't boot anymore, the SD card (when put in my PC) appears as readonly and I can't even format it cause it "is protected".
Does this mean my SD card is gone?

I bricked a 128gb sd card using exfat too it sucks It corrupted my files then would not format i tried like four different tools to format it and they all gave errors i think your card is toast.

Use a partition manager. People here recommend miniTool.
The write flag was possibly activated and you need to reset it.
