Hi All,

not sure where to ask this question - but why is it so hard to find private trackers that hold scrubbed releases? (i belong to quite a few private ones, but only 1 of them hold scrubbed releases)

is it becuase its not a 'scene' release?, however most(if not all) the JPNreleases are scrubbed, so who draws the line to say whether JPN releases are ok, but not EU, US releases?

confused :S

sorry if this is in the wrong section - mods can you please move it to the approprate place if this is not right?

its mostly a scene thing. If only scrub's are available then scene trackers may up them (like jap games or whatnot).

Seems most games worth being scrubbed are up'd on trackers that allow uploads, like bcg and the likes, but I never see scrubs on my scene sites.

Also, I'm not promoting piracy in any way, just some information about why things are the way they are.

thanks for the quick response reboot....

yes - same, i never see any scrubbed versions on 99% of the sites i frequent - i think it 'may' have something to do with scene releases, but probbaly more to do with the tracker rules behind scrubbed releases?

no idea.... hoping someone who runs/owns trackers can provide more clarity?

(i'm not a member of bcg or nt, can anyone clarify whether bcg or nt has scrubbed releases? - (since they are the biggest 2 ninty game sites)

ntorrents has both scene and scrubbed versions for most games.

torrentleech rarely will release a scrubbed game, but mostly scene rar'd

thanks for all the responses.

i guess i'm just looking too much into it

little bit off topic (is nt as tight around seeding at bcg? still invites only?)

Scrubbed releases generally dont have the same support in torrents but if you ever find direct download sites, like I use, it will generally be in a scrubbed format.
