I'm not sure if this would apply to this category or not....

I got some screen protectors, and I got a fingerprint on the side that sticks to the DS and some dust got on that side too...

I should have wore gloves...

Does anyone know how I can get the finger print off and the dust? Or am I screwed forever?

I think it depends on what kind of screen protectors you got.
You can try taping on and off at the sticky side, though, to get dust out.
Maybe the fingerprint will disappear with it? XD.

What brand of screen protectors DID you get?

Lift the protector with a piece of scotch tape and use a second piece of tape to clean the dust/fingerprint. As long as you bought genuine hori that should work well.

I got pissed and ripped it all off.. now I need to go buy another one for the top screen, my bottom screen has it. It had a pieces of dust, and when I tried to get rid of it, it scratched off the sticky part..

Also, my wasn't the genuine hori, it seemed better than the real one though. The fake one for 1.50 on dealextreme. XD Dealextreme is where i get all my stuff haha.

I screwed up my screen protector on the touch screen. I couldn't get all the dust off with tape, so I used some rubbing alcohol on it and more dust got on it....

lol sounds like too much of a hastle, was going to get some so many threads for
"screen protector" howtos dont think ill bother.

Then again it does sound like a challenge

Might get some included with some sticker skins Im looking at

In my opinion, you should either go for Horis or don't even bother. I've used other brands and they are nowhere near the quality of genuine Hori protectors. It can be tedious trying to get them on perfectly, but I've done it on 4 DS lites with great success.

I have genuine Hori protectors... It says Hori on it... A friend of mine got them for me, and the package looks exactly like the ones on play-asia.com and it says Hori on the package as well.

If the tape method won't work, Remember you have to prob mix warm/hot DISTILLED water with the alchohal b/c any other water contains minerals that causes the smudge. So...yea, keep that in mind*I got mine on and I can't even see the protecter but I can sure feel it protecting my DS ^^*
