the box says it supports bmp jpg png tif gif txt and pdf... what program does this? moonshell doesnt pick up the pdf i tried and the game section obviously doesn't either.

Currently, it can't support PDFs

PDF support is supposed to come out next update though.

Till then, you can view PDFs with some third-party homebrew program such as Ands-pdf

They are planning an independent ebook reader system that does not utilize moonshell. Right now Moonshell is there as a stand in until they get the program working.
