I went to put my DSTWO in my NDSL today and the DS couldn't find the card. I repeated this on my sister's NDSL and her's couldn't find the card either. I tested the microSD on my AceKard 2i and it seemed to be fine. I had my DSTWO in my pocket with my credit card for ~10min. Could my credit card's magnetic strip have erased the DSTWO memory?

I doubt that your credit card would do anything. Did you SD work in the DS2 before and have you tried it again?

Yea. I had the DSTWO for about a week. It was working pretty well (except for 1-2 NDS games and freezing within minutes of GBA emulation). The microSD was previously formatted by Panisonic and has been working up today so the SD shouldn't be an issue.

Hi,

Have you tried a chkdsk (disk check and repair tool)?

I had a similar problem (scds2 didn't recognize the shdc card, but it was recognized by the pc and I could access files in it) and the chkdsk solved the problem.

I think that I slightly corrupted the card (I removed it from the PC without unmouting it (indeed I unmounted another drive

)).

Regards

I did a chkdsk and that didn't work so I tried a format and that didn't work either. I'm pretty sure it's the credit card. The hotel card key that was in my pocket got erased as well.

unlikely to be a credit card

i magnetic force will screw the data tho
Credit cards give off a small magnetical field, they can corrupt anything if they are near it long enough. So, you're screwed, I guess.
