Well i was looking around in scdev and there was this topic about new OS being released for the SC DS, and i just wanted to ask people if it was really true?

the new OS is named "SuperCard DS(ONE) OS 1229"
heres the link
http://eng.supercard.cn/soft_scdsone.htm

are there any new changes or is it exactly like the v1.1?

both archives contain the same files (CRC-checked)!
(supercard-teams .zip is just better compressed)

check it out yourself: extract all and do a .sfv/CRC-check

Just tested it using Kingston 1GB detected at 30x:

ACWW still slow on loading outside world

Metroid Prime Pinball is slightly better than v1.1 still have minor sound lag after pressing A on opening menu.
Castlevania: POR no freezing Intro at full speed.

don't see how it could be better than 1.1, since its the exact same thing lol. they've just now "officially" released it as the new loader, while before it was unofficially released for people to try. I guess it was stable enough to label it official.

That's what they call a beta!

I know what a beta is.. i was just replying to the post above me since he said that performance was different and trying to explain why it wouldn't be different.

I might be nuts, but why didn't they add a 2007 date next to it on that page

? If it wasn't for the "1229" we'd never know about it.
