So, I've gotten Earthbound Zero working on nesDS by getting up to a save point in Nestopia and creating a .sav file then moving it to nesDS. But, it seems every time I talk to Ninten's dad to save on nesDS, it doesn't. Like, it would work if I chose Save then rest, but after I reset, it's gone. It doesn't overwrite the current saved file, or create a new one when I deleted the save file and ran from a save state. Am I stuck with using save state throughout the whole game? It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable because all I have to do is hit the save state button at the wrong time and all of my data is gone.

And I searched for hours, and only found stuff on how to start a game on nesDS.

After saving in-game, use the "Save SRAM" option in the NES DS menu instead of the savestate one. This updates the *.srm/*.sav file on your card with the updated save data.

Sent the save.
The SRAM worked once, but that's it. Just gonna use the savestate keys.
