Does any device for the GBA allow the use of savestate?

(I think Action Replay/Gameshark does but i'm not sure because i can't find any info about that feature on the web.)

If those don't have what device does, and if some suport what revision does?

I am not sure about the later stage M3's at this point but the EZ3 had such a feature, though for some reason it never made it over to the EZ4; none were ever that good though, perhaps better than some of the DS stuff but quite far from emulator grade. Good luck finding anything with support for them in 2013, indeed good luck anything with support for them in 2009.

Likewise I am not sure what went with the AR/gameshark side of things, I know there were save management tools but RTS is a bit of a stretch.

The short version is unless you get very lucky you are looking at emulation of some form or nothing at all.

when i got my action replay xtream crystal edition (for gbc) i noticed a savestate feature (which works at least on the only game that i tested). So i thought that maybe a device like that could also exist for gba with that same feature.
( yes i realise that gbc and gba are completely different systems and that doing it could be harder on gba)

I know my Flash2Advance Ultra can do it to commercial roms but that has dedicated buttons on the cart to control saving and loading. The Supercard should be able to do RTS but that's not a good solution for GBA gaming.

Outside of getting a flash cart, I'm not aware of any hardware devices that would function like what you want. It's interesting to hear that the GBC Action Replay had that feature, something I didn't know.

Damn that is a nice looking cart too, I wish I could find one of those and a EZF-III 8gbit.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
