Hacking Savemiifree is being confusing

I bricked my Wii a while back Iv tried Savemiifree with the GameCube controller I put in NSMBW and the version of my Wii disappears then doesn’t do anything, but a little bit after that my Wiis disc drive starts glowing and it hasent stoped. Does anyone know what’s going on and how I can fix the Wii

The recovery menu can boot any disc whose title ID starts with 0 or 1. Most Wii games start with R or S, although the recovery menu can also perform disc updates from any disc.

Probably not doing anything unless some kind of update is present on the disc compared to the installed software.
I vaguely remember the disc in question must be some "autoboot disc" to actually start; this means original game discs wont (but a patched burned copy if a modchip is present -- therefore older drives only)
