soo let me get it straight. i get the part where itll move the save data to your SD card (or usb hard drive maybe?)

but then when you start playing an iso game, for example: rabbids go home on usbloader gx, could i automatically save and load like normal but to the SD card then?

No when you save it will not go to the SD card. This program will only help you extract your save files.

i see. so there is no way to save games through an sd card or usb then?

There might be but I don't know how to do it so I can't provide info on that.

that is the whole idea of nand emulation. just type "wii nand emulation" in your google machine and read up.

Ok guy please just wait a next more stable setting prompt
i've planed to remake all this screen in the same way are done the savegame manage window.

Just wanted to thank you all for the great work.
Yesterday one of my sons was "playing" with the planets (saves) of SMG2 and deleted me the 100% one... more than 50 hours of play!!!
If I didn't have a backup on the usb hdd (made with savegeme manager gx of course!) I would be really sad today.
Thanks!!!

@wiixale:

lustar is working on it
thx

@ lex luthor:
seen your video, thx
will done more test.
hope to find the problem...
(could you test with other saves linked to miis and report here?)

WII PLAY has a similar behavior. Once you save the game, extract the save and reinstall it again the game will tell you that the progress can't be saved. Like Mario Kart it will work under the wii data management with no prob.

I got somewhat similar problem with a simpler test I made on just a simple game (no Miis involved) in "Cars Toon Maters":
- Played the game one round, save custom settings
- Extract save to usb disk using SGMX R92
- Deleted save from Wii Data Management
- Started game to create fresh save
- Installed previously savegame using SGMX R92
- Started game again and it acts as if there is no save in there anymore (creates new save data)

I've done full powerdown between each step.

i will have a look
please tell me wich cIOS you use to launch game
thx

I was able to isolate my problem after several runs. I have my default saves directory set to usb (SaveGamePath = usb:/savegames/), although when application starts up it can list correctly that content, and the install command says it performs successfully it actually doesn't.

I only started suspecting the reason after testing with "NFS Hot Porsuit", because is a big save (118 blocks) and the installation took less than a second. This made the game on next start to ask to create the save game.

Again when started the SGMX, if go to the parent directory on the right side it shows the SD root dir instead of the USB root dir. If next I force to see the USB tab and go into the savegames directory, the install works (takes around 5 seconds, so I can sense something is actually being copied) and the next time I start the game the save was restored successfully.

PS: I'm using CFG USB Loader 61 with Hermes cIOS 222 (v5.0)

sorry not well understand the problem u isolated
it seem to be a problem with sd/usb (please confirm)
could you re-explain please
thx for your help

my interpretation of his problem is that if the default directory is set to SaveGamePath = usb:/savegames/, for some reason the installations fail. But if he manually navigates to usb:/savegames/ (ie. not having it be the default directory) then the installations work.

I haven't experienced any of these problems, this is merely my interpretation of TheColonel's bug report.
