test version... http://www.multiupload.com/V9L6ZG0OI9

based off svn r81
doesnt use cIOS
uses the usb2 stuff in ios58 thanks to latest libogc
only intended for the brave people with a working nand backup and the knowhow to restore it
uses the super cool ahbprot stuff HBC gives
requires HBC 1.0.8 that is using UNPATCHED IOS58 v6175

this is called a test version for a reason. it is modifying your nand and if it is not working right, runs the risk of blowing up in your face. other possible issues are loss of saves, the game not being able to access its save, and/or erectile dysfunction. you will have to follow the instructions accompanying HBC to start it without the ios reload, otherwise it wont really do anything cool.

i tested this out myself with good results. it did freeze the first time i created a folder on my HDD and extracted a save. but after restarting my wii, everything worked fine. im not sure if this is a bug i made, a 1 time fluke, or something pre-existing.

Can I ask why it's potentially so dangerous that it could brick a Wii? Is it because it's using ios58? Sorry for the noob question but I am perplexed.

I haven't yet downloaded SGM but plan to...is the original version also dangerous?

ya know what i have the same question because the original SaveGame Manager GX uses cios249

anything that is not throughly tested that makes changes to your nand is dangerous. if you dont understand why, then you shouldnt play with stuff like this. just wait for the brave people to try it out.

Ok understood it's to do with modifying the nand. Amen to that, I certainly am not brave enough to try it..lol.

Count me in. r81 code dumps on startup for me but works on SNEEK (methinks it doesn't like my particular flavor of IOS 202). Just made a NAND backup and am feeling frisky!

Ok weird stuff with your version. It worked beautifully when i tested it via wiiload, but when I actually run it on my SD card from HBC it says no savegames on wii

EDIT: Fixed it by adding to the meta.xml, which is automatically applied to wiiloaded stuff

EDIT2: Doh, already says that a few posts that :-P Sorry!

I need help installing this.
I have no clue where to put each downloaded thing on
my SD card please help!
put your boot dol in root:/apps/what you want/ then don't forget to set your update path in settings to your app folder
if you have a font, put in root:/config/SaveGame_Manager_GX/ & rename to font.ttf and that will be loaded automaticaly or don't rename the browse the font in setting screen
all other folders and files will be created automaticaly after the first load
don't forget (at this time) you need to have a cIOS249 rev higher than rev9 installed on your wii to use this app

Today I had a little problem with the SGM GX r81. I`ve initialized my console, so there were no more mii`s on it.
Now I had started the SaveGame Manager GX, but there was a stack-/ codedump.
After this trial I entered the mii-channel and I made a new test-mii on my wii.
Now, the SGM GX r81 works perfectly. There are little problems too, if the SGM can`t find the right folders with the savegames or the savemiis!

Spanish for r82.

First time I got issues with your app (Aren't important, but I think it's good for you to know):
- Can't extract Miis with special characters like ? or :
- This happens sometimes: After extracting the Miis (I think it's because the errors extracting, don't know) some of the Miis names get screwed up with rare symbols ·)/$%/ something like that, opening and closing a transparent window makes the names come back to normal. Sometimes (just sometimes) after that, when I close the app, and load it again, the Miis that showed the symbols appeared with a 00 at the end of their name. Like this: "Name      00". And no, the ones showing "00" aren't giving me errors when extracting.
- I'm not sure on this one, correct me. You have a "complete_font.ttf" that's why i'm not sure. But, Miis with a creator name with symbols like "?x7?Name?" are showing a mess in the Info Window.
- App isn't translating this, it shows the english line instead:
QUOTE said:
239 msgid "Display the report?"
240 msgstr "¿Mostrar el reporte?"
I tried removing the ¿ symbol but it keeps showing the english line.

EDIT: After shutting down my Wii and turning it ON again, the ones showing "00" came back to normal and the 00 hasn't appeared anymore... LOL. I didn't shut down the Wii before.

illegal characters on FAT maybe dj_skual ??

Remember some wii saves contain illegal characters too, not sure of them all but Harry Potter : etc has a colon in the file name and the original savegamemanager cant copy it to a FAT devise because of this.
