I wonder if it would be possible to append the id into the uid file on the wii so you don't need to play the game first...hmm
Even with that, the current files are not complete.
The manager only copy the data folder, but doesn't copy the content/title.tmd.
If the possibility is added in the manager, everyone would have to redump the saves to includes those files on SD.

I don't think it will be implemented though.
TJ_skual told me it's for security/brick protection that the manager check for an installed banner.bin to determine if the game is present.
He will explain better than me

Thanks for the update!

I'm used to install forwarders with .wad files, but the forwarder at the site is a .dol file.
What do I have to do to install the forwarder?
Just run the .dol with HBC or do I have to do something else?

you need to inject the dol in a channel then install the channel

Italian translation for r81 is ready.

dj_skual, just a question: why did you decide to use WiiTDB for savegames titles? In which way it could be useful?
you can decide to use it or not in settings and like i love wiitdb and i'm a wiitdb contributor, i like the idea to use it my app
but just select in options if u want to use or not

Yeah... I second that.
What "inject the dol" means?
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Is there some app to do that?

Thanks.

Any chance of a version compatible with sneek/uneek???

PM me if any info on how to??
You can use your computer to copy the 00000x/game id/data/*.* to SD:/savedata/00000xgamedata/*.*
But, that's right, if you want to mass add/store saves, it will be long to do it manually.

More than running it under sneek (cIOS are not good under it), maybe it would be better to run in on the real Wii, and add an option to see/save/restore the save data from the emulated nand, right ?
add new tabs on the left side : Wii | Mii | Nand Wii | Nand Mii |

you are in the way i've in mind for a future support!!!
wait and see...

I thought I'd post a link in this topic as it's semi related....

WiiCrazy recently modded his FE100 app (a save packer/unpacker for using on your PC) with some new features, one of which is it now gives the option of creating a banner.bin (instead of the split files)

It's only a very early Alpha and he doesn't want bugs reported yet, but it SHOULD make it work with apps like SaveGameManagerGX formats etc.

LINK

It's nice to bump this topic to the top of the pile from time to time too you know
