Hacking save problems with some games

well when i play some games like zelda spirit tracks or might and magic: clash of heroes, then turn it off, play it again later, the file for that game isn't there but when i check my sd card the .sav is still there for that game and its not corrupted.So is there anything i can do to that .sav file so i can start the game at where i was at?

What are u using? AKAIO (which version + which loaders) or oficial acekard (version???)
DS/DSi? (more info needed)

back up your files on your microSD, and format, this may sort it

It may be saving to a different Slot. AKAIO has the ability to create multiple SAVs of one game in different slots. Go to the games that you're having difficulty with and tap Y twice. Make sure the Save Slot is set to Default.

To back up your files, use whatever card reader you use to put stuff on your uSD. Make a folder on your desktop / C drive / somewhere else on your computer and copy everything from the uSD to this folder. Format the card using the Panasonic formatter (find it in the WIKI), then copy everything back.

Another question: Did you change the file name of the game in question? If so, make sure to change the save name as well.

Thank you for showing me how to back up my files and how to formatt it, Actually i did change the name of the game so i'll try to make the name and .sav file name the same

Make sure that the game and the save have the same name! Glad to be of service.

BTW, you can change the save slot manually by saying gamename.#.sav where number is 1-9. Make it say gamename.sav for the default save.
