double is easy because there won't be many hits, so after one or two search you already found it

you can use breeze to do the search https://gbatemp.net/threads/breeze-tutorial.683174

Try the new help system I added. Time to see if that actually help users :)

Full menu, search manager, see hp, search hp, change hp, search hp ... Do simple search is the easiest in terms of using the app, but if you set the type to double it will be very much faster. Use Show Candidates to see the results and edit the value to check if you are now master of the game. Give feedback about the help system in that thread.

See number search number actually works for a very large portion of values across most games. This game is one of the easiest because the value type is double making your search yield result ultra fast.

Hi everyone. I posted several days ago requesting cheats for Super Mario 3d All-stars. I do not think I know proper etiquette here on gbatemp because nobody ever seems to respond when I make a code request. I am afraid maybe I am breaking a rule or maybe our members who make codes are just not that interested in such an old game?
I want to apologize if I have offended anyone or broke the rules. I did discover while I have been waiting, that I was wrong about the codes for the older version of all-stars. I thought there were only 3 codes for it but just today I found that Eiffel2018 had made many codes back in 2020! He made some really great codes for Mario64 and sunshine. Is there any way for one of our code makers to update these for v1.1.4?

If you're planning to learn I would suggest watching some memory hacking videos for theory. Theres a video called Learn Cheat Engine on youtube by cazz which seems helpful. For breeze, optantic makes extremely useful tutorials. And look through TomSwitch's tutorials on his GitHub and posts here. There is also a new breezebeta release which has an updated tutorial which might help, im about to try it.

But start with easy things to hack that are visible on screen, health points, coins etc.. then you can go into invisible things like the player body which controls your jump height and speed. Unity engine games will make use of the class view system which allows you to look at the description of code and what they suggest. There is a search button where you can look up parameters like get_Item for example.

It took me about 2 weeks to go from not knowing anything to manipulating loot drop rng. You really just have to try and fail a lot like any skill, while keeping some sort of goal or logic behind your actions.
