Hacking Save games help!

Ok so I wanted to delete Bloodborne as I actually got a disk, and I wanted to run it from the disk (yeah, I don't know, I like having a couple of disc-based games anyhow). Anyway, by mistake I chose the "Delete" option with the star and well, managed to delete every save for every game I had. Fortunately, due to being afraid of the exploit messing up my saves, I never really played more than one game at a time, so I merely lost 2 hours in Dark Souls 3. However, I wonder - is there an option to revert what I did ? Using FTP or something?

Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess. I turned off my PS4 without making any new save files, just to make sure it won't get overwritten or anything.

I think on a forensic level you could probably restore your saves.... but thats ball-ache city.

Should back up saves periodically just incase using stooged sg db backup payload.

Figures. I thought it was maybe possible to rescue it because it may have a "phase out" time or something, like certain cell phones do with pictures.

I guess the only option would be to physically connect the hard drive to my PC and run some tools on it, however I doubt even that would produce anything useful as I have no idea if any tools would actually be able to piece together the files I'd be looking for.
Oh well, although I never planned on going back to those games, I still feel kinda bad that they're gone. At least the trophies are there to remind me :'(


Oh, and I'm connecting to the internet-based exploit how do I go about using the backup thingie? I just insert an exFAT USB drive and run backup ?

If self hosting add stoogeds payload to your host, or send the bin via binloader.

Thanks for the links and the advice
I should really look into self-hosting, just to avoid potential cases of internet loss and whatnot, however I've been a bit lazy about doing it :E.
I'll look into it in about 2 weeks when I update to 4.55 finally as well.
