The download section of this site has a fair few save files, however most of them are in .sav format, A format I believe won't work with a save backup manager run through homebrew. Anyone know where to find .bin save files?

There shouldn't be any difference besides the filename. Try it anyway and see if it works.

So you want me to try and load a save file with an extension that has no known compatibility with the program I'm using? Sorry but I don't feel like breaking one of my carts.

an extension means literally nothing

if it doesn't work, you can just delete or overwrite the save data
