Hacking Save file from DS game

I I am attempting to take the save file and rom my Pokémon platinum game cartridge and put it on my r4i gold rts. I have succsefuly got the rom off of It using godmode 9, and the .sav file using checkpoint. However, the r4i uses a .nds.Sav save file, so I renamed it to annds.Sav file. They both have the same file name and it shows up as a valid save file, but when i play the rom it doesn't run the save file. I have a o3ds xl on sysnand 11.6 and an r4i gold rts flashcard

i think there is an option on wood to use .SAV file.

I think im using wood and I don't see that option
