Homebrew Save Error?

I'm using Desmume 0.9.9. I just started playing the Miles Edgeworth 2 patched game, but my emulator does not make save files. When I try to save state, it says there is an error.

What is wrong with my emulator? How can I save?

Aha. There was a problem with the Desmume save file location in the read it. I fixed it now.
