Hacking Safehax doesnt work on 9.2

Yeah. I'm guessing that system is a frankenfirmware from back when downgrading 10.3-10.7(?) to 9.2 was the big thing to do. From what I've gathered your best option is to update via a game card so you're on a full firmware, then try safehax again
EDIT; Unless you can update and don't mind buying Sudoku and using Seedminer

does this have an inactive menuhax on it maybe? would you mind formatting the SD card and retrying? this sounds like what I ran into when I had menuhax and was trying to use soundhax to change to fastboot3ds/boot9.

you could try doing a CTRtransfer to 9.2 which would refresh your entire 9.2 to not be frankenfirmware if it's looking like it might be.

maybe if you can get menuhax and an older luma going you can load a 9.2 native_firm through luma's options?

I only can load luma with brahma or safehax. Both dont Work

have you tried any of the newer exploits like memchunkhax to launch one of the downgraders? I know you're on 9.2 but i'm curious if one of these would work.

I remember running something when I was on 10.2 to get down to 9.2 years ago I think was memchunkhax. Maybe if you can re-downgrade it might fix what's off.

theres a few thrreads with this issue arounnd. they got one those really fucked up setups for how cfw runs.

Ok, you can close this Thread, turns out i just had to downgrade kernel

And for the record, 9.2 can use arm9 apps directly from the homebrew launcher, no need for safehax first. So you could just run SafeB9SInstaller.3dsx directly.

That didnt Work out because this console had 11.6 Kernel and Native Firm
These arm9 apps do use brahma which doesnt work on 11.6 Native Firm
