Gaming Sadness

I remember before the Wii even hit shelves, there was talk of a game called "Sadness" that the devlopers were trying to keep super-secret.

Well it's been almost 2 years and I've heard nothing new about this? Has anyone read anything about this game or heard any news on it? It looked promising but I'm starting to think it was kept secret because they hadn't done anything with the idea.

After some insane googling I've found that the publisher dropped off the project.

It seemed like it would have been creepy being all black and white. And it was supposed to be like Eternal Darkness the way it messes with you.

Although I read today the people that made Eternal Darkness are working on a new psychological thriller/horror title. So, that should be good!

a whois on sadness's developer's website showed that it was owned by a PR agency, it was a hoax

The same goes for the ps3, they announced a lot of promising games which thought were really awesome, and many were discontinued or they just faded away

Why would a company make a hoax like that only to make no profit?

I think it was a legitimte game idea that couldn't get funded and couldn't find a publisher. So nothing ever came of it except some talk.

it looked good from the video, but i think it is way to early to judge it, and it probably got delayed, haven't heard anything new of it.

usually talked about before a systems launch and are games that are insanely cool but never come out (just talked about to hype system)

for example gran turismo 4 Mobile for PSP

I've got a song from Sadness in my music archive. also 4 songs from their other project Raid Over The River. The company making is called Nibris.. But I've got a feeling Sadness won't see days light. But who knows, might just take awhile.
